Biology Interactive Notebook Bundle
This set includes interactive notebook activities for 8 topics throughout biology. There is a wide range of activities to choose from, including differentiated activities for different levels. The digital versions *are* included in this package. They can be accessed on Google Slides.
This unit can be used as a stand alone curriculum or as part of an existing curriculum.

2. Classification Interactive Notebook- 10 items that cover taxonomy and how organisms are classified, including:
✿Classification Cards -6 Cards for each Kingdom: Animalia, Fungi, Plantae, Protista, Archaea, Eubacteria
✿Classification Reverse Flip Book- students can choose any species they'd like (usually it ends up being their favorite plant or animal) and classify it using this flip book. ✿Domain and Kingdom Branch- this makes great note taking or review. Students determine characteristics among the 6 kingdoms and use them to fill in the a chart.
✿Interpreting Diagrams- Students look at a "snippet" of the animal kingdom and use it to answer questions about how related (or unrelated) groups of organisms are.
✿Taxonomy Ladder- A flip up taxonomy ladder with a real life example that students can use for reference.
✿Taxonomy Ladder Warm Up- students color each organism listed that matches the description from Domain to Species (can be used as homework or classwork).
✿Kingdom Warm up- a fill-in-the-blank warm up or bellringer for the 6 kingdoms. Could also be used as homework or classwork.
✿Kingdom Pizza Wheel- Have students list information that you think they need extra help with.
✿Molecular Clocks- how we can use mutations to help determine evolutionary time.
✿Traditional vs. Evolutionary Classification- using the classic example of crabs, limpets, and barnacles, and how their classification has changed with new findings.
3. DNA Interactive Notebook- 11 engaging activities that cover DNA structure, DNA replication, and the discovery of DNA, inlcuding:
✿ Structure of DNA Discovery Map- Franklin, Watson, Crick, Chargaff
✿ DNA Shape Fold- an introductory tool in which students determine DNA's function, structure, and location.

8.Cell Cycle Interactive Notebook- 12+ activities that cover the cell cycle and sub phases- interphase (G1, S, G2), mitosis (prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase), cytokinesis and meiosis (meiosis I and II). Also offers activities that compare mitosis and meiosis and plant cell division vs. animal cell division, including:
✿ Cell Cycle Pie Spinner- this focuses on the entire cell cycle, including interphase and cytokinesis. The pie chart represents the amount of time that cells spend in each phase.
✿Cell Cycle Flap Book- a simpler way to present the cell cycle using flaps of different sizes. Students write the occurrences of each phase (interphase, mitosis and cytokinesis) under each flap.
