Product Details
Classification Project- This is a great project to end your classification unit! Students must classify 12 newly discovered species on an alien planet and make up their own kingdoms, phyla, and classes.
They also need to make a dichotomous key, creature cards, and answer 10 group discussion questions. There is a slightly different alternate version of the questions for differentiation.
What's included:
☞ Description of 12 alien organisms discovered on the Jungle Planet.
☞ Directions and template to create kingdom, phyla and classes (though students can make up their own diagram if they wish).
☞ Blank template for dichotomous key.
☞ 2 pages of group discussion questions (and alternate version).
☞ Blank creature cards for artist interpretation and easy-to-read names
☞ Note to teacher with suggestions
